- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar and salt
- Water and Oil (as needed)

Step 1
- In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds.
- Once the cumin seeds start to crackle, add chopped onions and green chilies.
- Cook until the onions are soft and golden brown.
Step 2
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
- Add the pureed tomatoes and cook until the mixture thickens.
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to the pan and mix well.

- Add the soaked chickpeas to the pan and pour in enough water to cover the chickpeas.
- Let the chickpeas cook until they are soft and tender.
- Once done, turn off the heat and garnish with fresh Coriander/Dhaniya. [optional]
